The Center GAM uses the patterns of ancient Diego Portales Building, which in turn was located the headquarters of UNCTAD III, opened in 1972. In its first phase of remodeling (2010), the Center emphasizes transparency and organization that screens the inner life of the building to the outside, melting into the routine of their surroundings. The building is connected to the city but at the same time, capable of accepting reality autonomous creation and silence.

Cerro Santa Lucía

The work started in 1872, contemplated a circunvalaciíon and access road, atop which a chapel was built. The park will incorporate large volumes of soil, over a thousand trees, plazas, fountains and gazebos, providing a sophisticated irrigation sitema.

Government palace La Moneda

The palace was originally intended to house the Mint in colonial Chile. Given that local authorities then did not have the resources to build a building for the purpose "coinage" the Spanish Crown decided it would be a private citizen to carry the project. That was how the palace was built between 1786 and 1812, with funding from Francisco Garcia Huidobro, I Marquis of Casa Real.

The Plaza came along with the city on February 12, 1541. The grid layout plan (like a checkerboard) planned to build a central square around which erect the main buildings around the square administrativos.En born the arcades or markets, as the carts with goods arriving this area during colonial times. At noon, stood the gallows to execute those convicted and demonstrate the power of Royal Justice.

San Francisco Church

The church and convent is the oldest architectural monument now existing in the country and dates from the colonial era. Currently, the convent is a museum with relics from the various religious and colonial art. Since 1951 he has been a National Monument and in 1998 was presented by the Chilean authorities to Unesco as candidates to be considered a World Heritage Site
